The Adena Health Psychiatry Residency program features rotations at a number of sites.

Adena Regional Medical Center (ARMC)

• Core hospital of Adena Health System located in Ross County
• Services more than 12 counties in the South Central Ohio region
• 261 bed capacity
• 100 bed new emergency department
• 24-Hour Cardiology cath lab
• Telestroke capabilities with direct access to The Ohio State University stroke center
• Helipad with rapid transport capabilities w/Medflight of Ohio to tertiary care centers
• Da Vinci Robot surgeries

PACCAR Medical Education Center

• $19 million dollar facility
• State-of-the-art David Meade Massie Virtual Hospital
• Houses didactics and many simulation activities

Rotation Sites

Adena Regional Medical Center

• Rotations: inpatient psychiatry, consult liaison psychiatry, neurology, internal medicine, family medicine (outpatient), palliative care
• There are also elective options.

Chillicothe VA Medical Center

• Rotations: geriatric psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, and emergency psychiatry.
• There are also elective rotation options.

Nationwide Children's in Columbus, OH

• Rotation: child and adolescent psychiatry

Adena Counseling Center

• Rotation: 3 days per week in the PGY-3 outpatient year to include both adolescent and adult patients

Southeast Healthcare, Inc. in Columbus, OH

• Rotation: 1 day per week in the PGY-3 outpatient year

Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare in Athens, OH

• Rotation: forensic psychiatry

OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH

• Rotation: addiction psychiatry
