The Emergency Department offers 24 hours a day 7 days a week and Victim Advocates and Forensic Nurses to provide one on one care to survivors of interpersonal violence.
Adena Health System has special services available for children, women, and men who have experienced interpersonal violence such as sexual and/or domestic violence, child or elder abuse, human trafficking, and/or a hate crime. The Emergency Department offers 24 hours a day 7 days a week and Victim Advocates and Forensic Nurses to provide one on one trauma informed victim-centered care to survivors of interpersonal violence.

Many services are funded by the Attorney General’s Office through the Victims of Crime Act and SAFE Billing Program. Up arriving at the emergency room ask to see a Survivor Advocate and they will be there to help you understand your options to make informed decisions about your care.
