Adena Health System celebrates the achievements of Black Americans and the positive impact they had and continue to have on this country and the communities we serve. We recognize Black caregivers in all levels of health care that serve and care for the well-being of others every day despite challenging and uncomfortable obstacles as we all work together for equality.

Adena is committed to creating an inclusive environment that respects the human dignity and diversity of each member of the Adena family. Everyone deserves and will be treated fairly and equitably. We recognize and celebrate the value of diverse cultures, beliefs, identities and race.

As we celebrate Black History Month, help us recognize the legacy of Adena Neurologist Michael E Jones, DO.

Dr. Jones is a proud graduate of Tuskegee University, a Historically Black University, and earned his medical degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery. Adena Neurology began with the arrival of Dr. Jones 24 years ago filling a valuable care gap in the region and keeping patients closer to home for their care. He enjoys health, fitness, family, friends and jazz piano. Dr. Jones is well respected among his patients, peers and in the communities he has been called to serve.
