Chillicothe, Ohio-based Adena Orthopedic and Spine Institute opened an express clinic.
The Adena Orthopedic and Spine Institute Express Clinic will see patients with common orthopedic injuries and accepts walk-in patients, according to a June 17 news release shared with Becker's. It runs on weekdays at the Adena Regional Medical Center.
Services include care for broken bones, sprains, joint pain, finger dislocations and other injuries.
"If somebody comes in with a bad wrist fracture, we can get them with our hand specialists quickly, have their x-rays taken care of, and get their treatment started sooner – all under one roof," orthopedic surgeon Clinton Hartz, MD, said in the release. "That process is the same for other types of injuries as well, even those that may need surgery. It’s all about creating an environment that is more efficient and convenient for the patient."
