Adena Health Awarded Sanctions in Court Ruling

The Ross County Court of Common Pleas has awarded sanctions against Brian Cohen, MD, Aaron Roberts, MD, and James Troy Thompson, DO, for malicious prosecution, as well as for engaging in frivolous conduct by filing and pursuing antitrust claims against Adena Health that were wholly unwarranted.

Per the judgment, Adena has been awarded $87,329.25 to be paid by the defendants.   

Adena’s lawsuit for pursuit of damages based on the departure of those physicians continues.
