Adena Adds Five New Providers
CHILLICOTHE, OH (July 12, 2022) – Adena Health System is expanding its care for patients with the addition of five health care providers, across multiple service lines. These incoming physicians and advanced practice providers are delivering even more options for comprehensive, close-to-home care for patients throughout the region.
Adena is pleased to welcome:
Muhammad Athar, MD returns to the growing team in Adena Cardiology in Chillicothe. Dr. Athar cared for patients at Adena Regional Medical Center as a contracted hospitalist from 2017-2019. A board-certified cardiologist, he earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Athar completed his residency at Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners in Michigan and two fellowships at the University of Cincinnati.
Katherine Chenevey, MD is accepting new Family Medicine and Internal Medicine patients in Washington Court House at Adena Health Center – Fayette. Dr. Chenevey earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo and completed her residency at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Monroe, Michigan.
Samidha Dutta, DO is now caring for patients at Adena Urgent Care locations in Chillicothe, Circleville, Hillsboro, Jackson and Waverly. Dr. Dutta is a graduate of the Adena Graduate Medical Education Family Medicine residency program. She earned her medical degree from the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri.
Caitlin Kirk, Certified Nurse Practitioner is welcomed to team of providers at Adena Chillicothe Family Physicians. Among Caitlin’s clinical experience throughout southern Ohio, she served as a Staff Nurse with Adena Home Health in 2018 and cared for patients in Ross County at Adena Chillicothe Family Physicians in 2021. She earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from Ohio University in Athens.
Melissa Manson, Certified Nurse Practitioner comes to Adena Kidney Specialists seeing patients in Chillicothe. Melissa brings over 20 years of nursing experience to the Health System. She earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from the Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
