Adena Primary Care Providers (PCPs) are your lifetime partners in health, offering high-quality care from infancy through old age. Our experts provide head-to-toe health care focusing on prevention and acute and chronic disease health management.
Our 80+ physicians align your care to your specific preferences, circumstances, and needs, as well as your lifestyle and values — as we know no two patients are alike. We educate, diagnose, and treat all of your health needs with the same level of holistic, continuous, coordinated health management you'd find in larger cities.
A team-based approach allows us to look at each patient individually to determine the root cause of any health problems while also allowing us to consult with specialists when needed to help provide the most comprehensive care.
Adena Primary Care Providers live and work right in your community and are proud to bring their own families to Adena for treatment. We offer convenient care close to home or work, with numerous primary care, urgent care, and same-day locations throughout south central and southern Ohio.

Specialty Programs or Treatments, notable partnerships
Population Health Nurse-Led Medicare Wellness Visits: Our staff of highly trained nurses conduct comprehensive wellness visits for Medicare patients. We focus on chronic disease management and overall wellness and develop a personalized prevention plan tailored to the patient's specific needs. This program also allows us to reach out to patients who have been discharged from the hospital within the first two weeks, to reduce the likelihood of hospital readmissions.
Our Weight Management Program is a comprehensive program using a multidisciplinary approach that focuses on the patient's individual needs. We work with the patient to not only achieve a healthy weight, but provide the tools and resources to maintain it. Our weight management program is not just about the number on the scale, it is about helping patients achieve a level of wellness that reduces the risks associated with obesity such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and more.
What technologies are used to help treat patients?
We utilize the Epic System to keep track of patients' electronic medical records. This system gives patients streamlined access to their medical records and experiences wherever they are. Epic also allows for patient/provider contact and improves patient care quality with 24/7 access to equipment reminders, prescribed medications, therapies, scheduling, and more.
Telehealth visits allow us to provide convenient, quality care to patients that may otherwise be unattainable. The convenience of telehealth visits means the patient can see one of our providers during the work day, without having to miss work.
Our Mobile Health Unit allows us to provide high-quality treatment in a safe, clinical environment at partner school districts every month. Our staff provides assistance with medical emergencies, helps students with chronic health conditions, and offers other services to students in busy families who may have difficulty finding time to get to medical appointments.
Senior Life Solutions is an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of older adults typically ages 65 and older struggling with depression and anxiety often related to aging. They focus on helping seniors in the community navigate difficult life transitions and regain their quality of life year-round.
